My daughter was loudly complaining that her dad had eaten ALL the potatoe chips. He was letting her know she didn't have monopoly over them... if it's in the pantry its fair game. It was escalating and getting heated, after all they were Salt n Vinegar chips, her favorites and his least favorites... then I heard myself say "For goodness sake you two, you're arguing over potatoe... its just potatoe!!"
And thats when I knew, I had shifted in my thinking. It was just potatoe, just bread, just pasta, just carbs and none of it is leaving the planet. I can make room for it in my future but right now none of it is going to taste as good as size 12 is going to feel.

| I use to love hot chips, cooked some oven fries for my husband last night and was amazed they did not even tempt me to try one. As you said they are only potato! Now bread, wholemeal of course or cereal is what I'm looking forward to on maintenance! Only 6 kgs to go. |
